• Brief consultation: Gaining better understanding of the patient’s history and goals. 
• Palpation: Hands on touching of the area of pain. Our patients do not disrobe or change out of their usual clothing.
• Range of motion: The patient goes through areas of motion.
• HRV: Computerized analysis of the balance within your autonomic or involuntary nervous system.
• EMI: Objective measurement to analyze the energetic status of the acupuncture meridians.
• Applied Kinesiology:  A form of analysis that looks at muscle symmetry and strength and it’s relation to the nervous system, visceral function, and the acupuncture pathways.

X-Ray Exams: We do have some patients ask about X-Ray exams. Typically we are able to treat based on the findings of the exams listed above. We do not take X-Rays in our office, but if the doctors deem them necessary, we are able to order X-Ray’s. We also use other doctors’ and hospitals’ films.
